Two years after she was built, Snow Bunting went to Dunkirk. Then she served as a patrol boat in the Solent until her first post-war owner bought her in a derelict condition. It took hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds to prepare her to cross the Channel and cruise down through the French canals.
Last known in the 1990's as belonging to V.S. North who lived aboard with his cat (which jumped ship when the engines started).
As of April 2018, no further information concerning this historic vessel has been received. We would invite persons with knowledge of her history and whereabouts to contact the Association.
Now believed to be broken up.
